Beautiful wedding ceremonies conducted with grace and compassion
The New Guernsey Bailiwick Marriage Law 2021
The Bailiwick of Guernsey now has one of the most robust and inclusive marriage laws anywhere. The marriage licence is also recognised in the UK, Europe, and other jurisdictions worldwide. As an authorised Civil Celebrant, I can legally marry couples anywhere within the Bailiwick, including its airspace and territorial waters.
Because this new marriage law is so versatile, wedding ceremonies and the affirmation can be held at almost any location; outside, on a beach, at home, in a hotel, at your favourite pub or restaurant, or on a yacht or aircraft. Indeed the places are only limited by your imagination and the permissions required.
The Bailiwick includes the islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm.

Highlights:
I am a designer and University lecturer and have the command, presence and patience to oversee and conduct ceremonies. Working in a close-knit classroom environment, I needed to be a good listener, understanding, nurturing and empathetic to my students to get the best out of them.
I aim to help couples on their big day understand your commitment without being too overbearing. The ceremony will be a happy, magical and fun day for you and all your guests. It is also meaningful, so the start will be conducted with authority and confidence, leading and respectful, but ultimately happy.
My style is to lead, direct, inspire, and, when done, fade gently out of sight; job done.
My approach:
All weddings are different, and all couples are different too. My approach would be to work with you to accommodate your wishes. That said, my approach would be to add my traditional touch to the beginning of your celebrations. Although I say traditional, it won’t be stuffy, dull, or too long and will be conducted with empathy, warmth, and authority.
